Dregs of unsent letter

On the other side of the door a fascinating future, dressed in glad rags, waits for us
And we’ll dance with it like holly fools
We’ll get drunk with our new born freedom
For a while
Then, the lava of remorse will burst out of our chests like a curse

Let’s still hold in our palms a sip of pure water
Until the great moment when that fabulous future will take us by the hand

Your silence is a huge stone that grows bigger and bigger day by day
It will turn into a mountain eventually

I don’t want to be the prisoner that digs through your shadow looking for a gram of gold anymore
One day I might get blind

One day I might take this love into my arms
Like a broken doll
And throw it away
One day I might get out of heart and say:
“As you wish, sir”
As you wish!
