Solveig

Solveig
Solveig, my sister in death
I’m crying now with snowy tears
Time’s fire in burning my breath
Tight in my fist I keep your fears
I write you with closed eyes my vow
And with tied hand I write my song
I carry in my teeth your silence
And your deep secrets in my womb
I keep your wisdom in my temples
In death you are vivid the most
Although you often seem so lost
In destiny’s intricate flow
Solveig, my sister in sorrow
Solveig, you my tender witch
My sister from beyond the world
With your hope you are so rich
Your pain is radiating gold
You, waiting-woman, carry on
The naked body of my voice
Without words without invoice
Solveig, you my cloudless cross,
My sister in fate form across,
I bound my eyes with your hair
To hide away all my despair

To hide away all my despair
I bound my eyes with your hair
My sister in fate from across,
Solveig, you my cloudless cross,
Without words without invoice
The naked body of my voice
You, waiting-woman, carry on
Your pain is radiating gold
With your hope you are so rich
My sister from beyond the world
Solveig, you my tender witch
Solveig my sister in sorrow
In destiny’s intricate flow
Although you often seem so lost
In death you are vivid the most
I keep your wisdom in my temples
And your deep secrets in my womb
I carry in my teeth your silence
And with tied hand I write my song
I write you with closed eyes my vow
Tight in my fist I keep your fears
Times’ fire is burning my breath
I’m crying now with snowy tears
Solveig, my sister in death.
